Re-branding the county
Presenting Yorkshire as the UK’s largest county with the largest workforce and as a home to some of the worlds leading brands was always going to be difficult. Still viewed by some as the home of flat caps and whippets, the brief was to create a new brand for the county that expressed it’s growing status as a vital business centre with millions spent on technology and business infrastructure. The resulting logo optimistically looked to the future and now appears on almost all Yorkshire business materials.
To present the ideas and aspirations of Yorkshire to the world required a suite of brochures that promoted the county as a world-class business centre. The brochures therefore took iconic Yorkshire locations andpresented them in striking ‘widescreen’ formats.
